HD Receiver - self check

I have an HD Receiver and and HD DVR Receiver in my house.  The DVR receiver works fine.  The HD receiver goes through a startup mode (and tells me to wait a few seconds) then goes into a self check.  When it comes out of the self-check, it doesn't say if there are problems.  It turns it self off briefly, then turns back on, goes through startup, runs a self check, and repeats.  I hit the reset button.  I unplugged the device overnight.  When I plug  back in and restart, I get the same issue.  Any ideas?
