HD Receiver to non HD TV

Our HD TV needs to be repaired. While the TV is at the shop can we hook our HD Receiver to a non HD TV.

Yes, if you have a H20 or HR20, go into menu>help&settings>setup>HDTV and select the resolution tab at the top. Uncheck all except the 480i resolutions. This will then put out a SD signal which the old TV will recognize.
