Help!
Half of my channels are searching for a signal in either 1 or 2. We do not have anything hooked up to two and have done all of the troubleshooting steps. Here are the transponder reading...
1-8 95 95 95 0 95 98 95 99
9-16 95 95 95 0 96 99 93 99
17-24 94 0 95 0 95 99 91 98
25-32 86 100 85 0 95 98 90 99
This is happening on both my HD DVR and my standard HD receiver.

we need to see ALL of your signals readings. use the template below to post your signals readings.
You'll find these readings under "Menu" -> "Setup" -> "System Setup" -> Satellite -> "View Signal Strength". Note the "+" and "-" symbols next to the "Satellite" and "Tuner" entries where you can toggle the readings between the various satellites and both DVR tuners. If you have a DVR it's important to check BOTH satellite tuners.
Fill in your readings for each satellite and tuner on the new post you create, using the example below as a guide. (The example below is only an example and not a form that will appear in your post unless you "cut" and "paste" it.) A properly aligned dish will show 80-90s on most of the relevant transponders (although some will be low or zero):

your signals are a tad bit low on the 99 and 103 satellites, but the main problem is that you are missing the ODDS transponder on the 103 sat. since is happening on all receivers, I suspect that you might have a bad LNB. Best to call DTV and schedule a service visit. Free with the protection plan, otherwise $49.00

Thank you for the help. We live in an apartment building that shares one dish, so it's strange that no one else has called.

certain channels broadcast on certain transponders. so is possible that they have not noticed it yet, because they might not watch channels on those missing transponders. but since you have an MDU, you need to contact the person who is in charge of the DTV system. DTV can't get involved in MDU set ups.

We've called them and they are coming out later this week. Was just hoping it was something we could fix. Thanks again!
