How do I return the DirecTV satellite dish equipment?
There are three DirecTV satellite dishes attached to my building that are not in service. I would like to return them to you. How do I go about it? Do I have to schedule an appointment with DirecTV to have a technician remove it? Please advise.

no, these dishes are yours and directv will not remove them. If you can't remove them youself, you will need to find a local contractor to do it.

Thanks for sharing that information @TexasBrit. We really appreciate it!
Hello @juanabarbara, we'd like to share with you some information about this process.
Since the DIRECTV satellite dish and dish hardware become the property of the customer upon installation, DIRECTV does not provide support for the removal/uninstallation of this equipment.
Using the following link you can review some information about how to recycle the satellite dish and hardware.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

If you have any receiver/client boxes, those might be returnable depending on the exact model numbers.
But everything else (receiving dish, cabling, etc.) is owned by customer upon install.
Though not in service, I would consider leaving the dishes there. That way you protect against leaks and if someone moves in that is having DirecTV installed, it can give a better chance at protecting the building by using a dish already in place (if still usable).
