How is video info sent across netwrok?
I have whole home with two DVR's. Main TV is 1080P and second is 720. Is the program content sent across the network as raw satellite data and decoded at the receiver or is a 1080 picture sent across? The question is, it would be best to set the receiver at the 720 TV to output max 720 but will that then send 720 recordings to the 1080 other set or is the signal decoded at the 1080 set and sent out at that resolution? Hope that's clear. I don't want to send 720 signal to my 1080 TV.

It's essentially the same stream recorded on the hard drive. So the video resolution is determined at the client (local) Receiver/DVR/TV, not the server (remote DVR). Just set each TV+DVR with the appropriate resolution setting for that TV and you'll be fine.
