How to Fix Disconnected Attic Cables

So... DirecTV doesn't offer internet in my area, which caused me to go with Time Warner. I had perfectly functioning DirecTV for a week and a half before the internet people came. The internet guy comes, complains about how DirecTV always cuts his wires... and suddenly my DirecTV no longer works. So I went into the attic to find out what was wrong...

I find that one of the two cables running to my DVR is just hanging there... and there is another cable just hanging that goes to the satellite, and there is another cable just hanging that goes to the master bedroom where the regular receiver is located.

I don't know what the original setup was, because I obviously didn't do it - but I assume there was some kind of connector that split the one signal from the satellite into the two different rooms, since those three cables are conspicuously hanging there..

So - does anyone know if there's some kind of connector/splitter that I can get at RadioShack or something and fix this myself, because I'm never home during business hours and am about to leave the country... but really miss my DVR -any help would be greatly appreciated 😄

OH - the thing that pops up is that the receiver is downloading information from the satellite... and stays at 0%. forever.
