HR20 HDMI driving me insane
OK so i had the H20 receiver on my 50 inch Maxent Plasma TV. EVerything was fine had no complaints. So i got the HR20 this past weekend and well everything is nutty now.
Yesterday when i turned on my TV the screen was green. I could still see picture but it was mostly REd and Green. I reset the receiver and it went away. I was like whatever. Today i get home from work and i get the same thing. I reset the TV but this time when it comes back my HDMI is forced to DVI so i don't get any sound. Reset again and same issue. I plug my HDMI DVD player into the same HDMi port on the TV and it is still stuck in DVI mode. For the life of me i cannot get it to come out of it. My TV happens to have 2 HDMI ports on it so i hook up the HR20 to the other one. It works fine and dandy. I am now thinking that maybe my TV is busted or something. So i got away for a few hours turn my TV back on and same thing it's GREEN. I reset receiver and now my HDMI2 port on my TV is stuck in DVI mode. I cannot for the life of me get it back.
Any ideas? I have to call the manufactoruer of my TV tomorrow to find out how to restore it to factory defaults.
