I need to know when Direct TV will fix the volume issue you are having

I had a repair man come to my Algoma, Wisconsin residence twice. The first technical person that came indicated to us that our brand new TV (April, 2010) had a volume issue as it has to be turned up to 60 to hear it. However, the DVD and WII work just fine at a normal volume. We insisted that a second repairman come and he did validate/confirm for us that Direct TV has a known volume problem and over 750,000 customers are affected. Being my TV set is only a few months ago, I am afraid we are ruining the audio on it by setting the volume at 60. The technical repair man told me that he would talk to his supervisor and get back to me when Direct TV will be back out at our home to fix your known problem. Naturally, I never heard again from that technician.

I want a credit on each month's account until you fix this problem. If anything happens to our new TV set and the speakers are blown, Direct TV is also liable for that issue.
