MPEG-2/SD-only to MPEG-4/HD (such as H24) is not a straight swap in most situations. Usually requires tech for cabling updates as well as new dish installed.
What are the models of each box you have now?

DTV may not have any H24s left in stock and possibly any H25s only Genies.
