Installation rescheduled
Less than 24 hours before the installation of a whole home dvr which included a new new hd dvr and 3 new hd receivers I get a call saying that is has to be rescheduled over a week off. I had already given away my old sony tv and have purchased a new 82 inch Mitsubishi HD. Now I have no way to watch it other than Bluray. THey said it had to be rescheduled for equipment shortages but my schedule me if you don't have the equipment. It is also very hard for me to schedule time off. Directv also already charged my credit card $460 and yet they are not delivering on their promise. I have been a customer for years and always have the most expensive package including NFLST. Now I am afraid to try to scedule the next day off as I have faith the install will take place as scheduled.

I feel your frustration. At least you received a call. We have been rescheduled 2x and no one has bothered to pick up the phone and contact us.

Here is what I would do, call them, tell them you need installation on whatever day you choose, and ask if they have any cancellations or if they could work you inbetween jobs for that day. More likely than not, they will be able to help you.
