ir remote operational frequency

I'm trying to get my ir remote to work with a "smart eye" (Sligh Furniture name) with my HD DVR.

I have searched and read manuals but I cant seem to find this info.

remote model # rc63r

The Smart Eye operates @ 36 - 40 khz.
