It worked when the tech was here!

I just receive a new DIRECTTV Plus DVR model R16-300. The remote model is RC64. After the tech left, I had to unplug everything in order to move my entertainment center back and after I plugged everything back in, the remote would not work on the receiver. It still worked on the TV though. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with a really sweet girl who tried to help me as much as she could but none of the solutions she provided seemed to help. She suggested that I request that a tech come back out to my home to re program the remote but I can't take any more time off of work and feel really bad making some poor guy come out for something I can do with a little direction. Help???? Please??? 🙂
