Lose picture and sound and local channels only
Local channels picture & sound (Usually not at the same time) cut off for 3-7 seconds. No problem on other channels. This happens on all my receivers.

How often is this happening? Does it show any errors like 771 or is there just a black screen? Also, what are the receiver model (s) in your house that have the issue? You stated earlier that all the receivers in your house have the issue so knowing the models will come in handy.

It may also be time to refresh your receivers if you aren't getting any error messages (only a black screen). Go to https://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/mydirectv/account/myEquipment.jsp?CMP=all-rescus-cus-self-en-refresh
and select "Refresh receiver" for EVERY receiver.
