lost range ATT Remote

for over 3 years was able to sit on my porch and operate tv in living room (thru sliding doors).

Last month lost range in remote and now have to enter living room to operate tv.

Put in fresh batteries, reprogrammed remote, reset receiver and got new remotes with same results.

Could this be a receiver issue? Annoying because it did work for 3 years+.

Did you move a piece of furniture, or add a new device that uses wireless that sits between you and the receiver?

Is this remote operating in IR or RF? If IR, I would verify the sensor on the remote and on the DirecTV box and TV are all clean. And the sliding doors if you are using it while they are closed.

And see if the TV got shifted so maybe you're not getting a direct line of sight as before.
