Same error here in CA around 6pm.  Got to be some sort of DirecTV issue and not our equipment.

Same here. Also in CA. Ran a system test to see if anything came up and I got an error

 code 41006, call Customer Support. Can’t find any info on that code on the Internet .

Same here in NC. I reset the receiver using the reset button and it began that process but now I'm staring at Step 2 of 2 98% Complete for the last 15 minutes

I got an error code of 920 at  9pm EST.  I ran and got  a  diagnostic code of 41-379..... " a cable problem or dish out of alignment" .  Called Directv and they put my call into an ENDLESS LOOP............ Customer Service to Technical Support back to Customer Service.........etc. 

I've repeated my phone number 6 times, voiced my error code 3 times and given my passcode number 3 times to the ROBOVOICE, which then takes me back to " Please say your phone number or enter your account number and tell me what your problem is.  I'm totally disgusted.   I've now been on HOLD after entering #6 for "something else" to speak to customer service for going on 34 minutes and 16 seconds.   I finally hung up

THANKS AT&T............... You've been a disaster ever since you bought Directv.  I've NEVER had as many problems as I've had since you took over.

Had an error about the guide, rebooted the box, have been sitting at 98% forever now. No programming at all. This was after dealing with their crap yesterday and giving the wrong genie minis to me. Tried to call them, phone would ring to a representative then go busy. You guys are horrible ...DirectTV and ATT

Same issue got a 41-992 alignment error when running system test.  Called the 1-800 number, was on hold for an hour, then I called back later and told there is a higher than normal call volume and to call back and to check tvpromise.com, which is a useless website, nothing to do with the error. Horrible customer service, it wouldn't be hard to put a message up telling what issues are occurring so less people will call.

Same issue with diagnostic code 41-802. Tried to call the 800# shown but everytime the bot transfers me to an agent, the call is dropped. Going through chat was no better. Whenever the chatbot transferred me to a live person on chat, it would comeback saying the chat wasn’t avail at this time. What now then??

in Indiana - Had an error about the guide, rebooted the box, never received my TV service back, been sitting waiting for Acquiring guide data.  Thanks for patience.  I HAVE NO PATIENCE !!!  AT & T is horrible - Directv is not the same.   No programming at all.   IU vs. Florida State on ESPN2 - I guess I will listen to it on the radio, even though directv/ATT charge enormous rates for the TV service, or lack of service.

You're not alone. There's a satellite issue affecting the Guide Data stream. Don't bother calling because they're slammed. Be patient and check back here every so often.

You're not alone. There's a satellite issue affecting the Guide Data stream. They're blaming a Fiber cable outage. Don't bother calling because they're slammed. Be patient and check back here every so often.

 

Do NOT RESET your box or it will hang at 98% during the reboot.

One would think that ATT/Directv would have the courtesy to at least acknowledge a system wide disruption. Perhaps they're all busy streaming on hulu or using their amazon firesticks and are blissfully unaware of the problem

Same exact problem here. Stuck at 98% for 30 minutes. Rebooted did the same.
