Mixed results for a new HR20-700
My first two days of using the new receiver are a mixed bag. I set up a bunch of recordings that I didn't care that much about, just to make sure everything was working OK. As I mentioned in another post, it took DTV two calls and over two hours to get my DVR active and recording. The first show I recorded was the Shuttle launch on HDNet, and that was flawless. However, two other shows I set to record, both on Universal HD, appeared to record, showed up in MyVOD, but were unplayable. After trying to play them, I rebooted the box and the shows were gone from MyVOD, but still showed in History as being recorded but not deleted. Also, while watching NFLST, I got several ext 721 messages despite being a ST/Superfan subscriber. The game was actually showing on screen at the same time I was getting the message in the lower right corner. I would have called, but I was sure they would recommend rebooting the box, and I wasn't willing to do that during the games. Until the new season starts, I still have plenty of capacity on my other DVRs for the shows I care about, but I am a little worried about this one. Any thoughts?
