Moved my hD-DVR - oops

I am a non-techi person with a technical problem. I got wild and crazy and moved my HD-DVR from the bedroom to my den - the hook-up in the bedroom had 2 cables and a phone liine - the den has only one incoming cable and no phone line - is this something a person who is handy with a drill and a screw driver can fix or should I call in the pros?  Thanks for your advice
