Multi room suggestions

Like the Multi-Room. Here are suggestions:
1. In playlist have a column showing room source.
2. Allow sorting of playlist by room, then the other sort options
3. Buffer the remoteroom so the backspace and forward space isn't so choppy.
4. Refresh the checking of other room DVR's that are part of multi room. If a DVR gets temporarily disconnected from network the only way I can get it to be seen again is to reboot it.

Great progress.

When MRV passes out of Beta, Directv will offer a new system called DECA which will network the HD boxes using the coax that supplies the satellite signal. This will be equivalent to a hard wired Cat5 network and will eliminate the "temporary drops" that many wireless system face. Here is a quote form the sticky post.
"We encourage customers who are already networked to join this beta and if your receivers are not networked yet, do not purchase new networking hardware. When this goes into public release, there will be specific network requirements that are not currently available."
The other ideas are spot on and hopefully will appear in the non beta version.

Thanks for the reply.

My network is not using wireless. Cat6 1GB. I did notice that your NIC is only 10/100.

Using the coax for DECA is great as long as I don't hav to run any more wires.

Thanks again.

You won't have to run any more cables. DECA uses your existing satellite coax cables.
