Multiple receivers and multiple remotes

I have 3 c41w-500s in same room. Genie is a HR-44-700. In a different room. One of the three rc71s has a bad button. Each 71 only operates one receiver. When I tried a rc66rx, it turned all tvs and even turned on a Samsung even though it was programmed to the Panasonic. Anyway to program rc66rx only to the receiver that had the glitchy rc71?

The RC66RX can't control the C41 any model in RF as DTV changed the RF protocol starting with that model so its IR is controlling everything.  DTV remotes are cheaper online.

I have a few 65s if those would work. Should I try those? Got a 65 and a 65rx.

Nope, no RC6X will control in RF.

The only remotes that control Genie equipment in RF mode (excluding the first-generation HR34 receiver) are RC7x remotes. Anything else is only worthwhile in IR mode. So, you must buy an RC7x remote if you wish to use your C41W clients or HR44 in RF mode. They are available on Amazon, eBay, Solid Signal, etc. or if you have the Protection Plan with directv, you can request a free replacement remote online or over the phone (number in my greeting below).
