My display is suddenly way oversaturated with red

Display for both live TV and recorded programs are displaying an intensely oversaturated red color. This is what I've tried to fix it:

  • Rebooting my video bridge
  • Rebooting my receiver
  • Changing the HDMI cable
  • Changing the receiver (I had an extra one on hand)

It's not my TV display because all of my streaming apps display just fine. Only DirecTV is red. It worked fine all day today, and then I watched Netflix for a couple of hours, and when I returned to DirecTV, everything is bright red.

I have a Samsung (not 4K). I've also tried adjusting the picture settings on the TV, but it barely touches it unless I almost completely turn off the color.
I don't know what to do. I've never encountered this issue, and it was working fine a couple of hours ago.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Looks like your DVR/Receiver's HDMI OUTPUT is defective. Can you test it with a different TV just to be sure since you've already tried a different HDMI cable.

What DVR/Receiver model number?
