my dvr wont come on.
The rec light is on but it won't come on. I checked all the wires. Unplugged for awhile. Pushed the reset button. Moved the switch button on the remote to tv and it works. Any help would be great.

Does the DVR actually record anything? Of is it just the light that's dead?

unplug the power cord for 5 minutes, plug back in, if power light doesnt come on, but record light still does, you need to call Directv for assistance
