My "list" (recorded shows) will not display in Alphabetical order
I've been a customer for 12 years. 2 weeks ago I had 2 HR24 DVRs and a H24 installed with all of the Whole Home, SWIM etc.
Now that my two DVRs have a lot of recordings they seem to have lost the ability to show the "list" in alphabetical order. See attached for 2 examples. The list goes out of alphabetical order in many places. I have reset both DVRs. It shows this way on all 3 receivers. I have tried all sort orders, but if I use alphabetical a-z or z-a the order is wrong in many places.
I've been trying to convince my wife that it was time to upgrade, but this sure makes it hard to convince her.

The 'list' of recorded programs is designed to 'list' them in the order that they are recorded, the most recent one first. As far as I know, the 'list' has never been in alphabetical order.

When using the guide you can press the yellow button to change the sort order. By default it displays them in order of date recorded. But if you change the order to Alphabetical.......

Really? No one has any idea? Is this a 'one off"?

I saw your post yesterday and went to my HR24. The alphabetical sort was working properly on my DVR so assume that your problem is unique to your DVR and is an anomaly. Have you done a red button (inside card door) reset of the DVR?

Thanks for the reply and suggestion dcd.
Yes I have tried a reset. Both via the red button as well as the menu in the user interface.
I'm wondering, when you tried at home.... Do you have two DVRs as I do? If so, do you have many recordings on both? Or just a few? I didn't notice the issue until both had more than 20 or so recordings each.
The playlist is out of order on all 3 of my receivers. Sooooo frustrating.

Did you ever get resolution to this issue? I'm seeing the same thing on one of my two HR24s with Whole Home. Tried resetting with no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

No, unfortunately it still occurs on occasion. In fact it was doing it a few days ago. I usually reboot both recievers, but that does NOT usually fix it. Then a couple of days later it will be fine again.
I even opened a ticket with the advanced tech support. I was promised I would get a call within 48 hours. No call came. NICE! Then like mentioned above, the list started sorting correctly again. At this point, months later, I can still not find any corralation to what is causing it. Very frustrating!!!
