My mess up?

Great forum and I believe it helped me figure out my own mess up!!  I just want to confirm what I believe.

We are real new to Directv and when we became customers we were given a tripod, portable dish, cable etc.

We are out camping for a couple of days in the travel trailer.

Started  trying to get set up yesterday evening and this morning and just can't get a satellite signal.

I believe the problem is this:

I grabbed the HD receiver out of the kitchen as we left. Model # H25-500.

The dish is a Phase 3LNB.

I do not believe the 2 are compatible.

I have changed the dish settings, aligned the satellite dish etc etc.

Am I correct of am I messed up somewhere else?
