My Panasonic home theather system does not play sound of the TV programings after having Directv
Hi,
I am new to all this so please help. I used to have Comcast and the comcast cable was hooked up directly to my TV as well as my home theater system. I was able to use my home theather system for listening to the sound from the TV as its speakers sounds much better than the TV speaker. After the Directv guy came to hook up the directv receiver, I can no longer listen through my home theater system's speakers anymore. What can I do to fix this problem?
Also, I have heard from others that each TV needs a directv receiver for full control of the chanels. The TV that does not have the receiver will not allow you to change chanels at all. You will have to watch the whatever is showing on the TV with the receiver is showing. However, one of my TVs does not have the receiver but it does not show anything at all. I do not use this TV often but would like for it to be available when I want to. Is there something I can do about that? Thanks in advance.
