My RC73 remote won’t pair with my SamsungTV?

My remote randomly stopped pairing with my tv, nothing has changed except the remote will no longer control our Samsung TV functions. No new tv, batteries didn’t die, and it’s a 2 year old remote. I can control all functions of the Genie with the remote. When I try the RF set up, the light on the remote flashes green for 10 seconds and then flashes red and does not pair. I’ve tried multiple times with new batteries. I’ve also reset the remote to factory settings. I can never get to the step where it pairs with the TV or asks for tv make/model. Do I need a new remote? Do I need a new box? Is there any way to reconnect my remote to the tv?
