Mysterious Program Deletions
Ok, this is a new one for me. Just had 2 separate programs on 2 separate HR24s deleted out of the blue, i.e., they were there then I was having issues with MRV so I reset the receivers and when they came back on the programs were gone. Under the History section, the message says that the shows were deleted b/c there was a problem retaining them. Never saw this before. One was Conan from last night. tried watching it via MRV and got an error message (no packets rec'd from server). Tried it on another HR24, same message. Went to watch on the source HR24 and it played fine. So, I reset all the receivers and viola the program was deleted.

How much space % is remaining on the source HR24? Sounds like it was deleted to make room for new recordings.

Thanks. That is not the issue. Over 95% on each networked HR24 (3 total). And sorry for the terrible spelling - duh, viola - I meant voila.

sorry for the terrible spelling -
The forum has a pretty good spell checker, once you teach it all the DBS specific terms. I use it frequently, not so much for spelling errors but for typos, and I make lotss of those.

What type of "reset" did you perform(Menu Reset, Red Button Reset, etc.). Your not using an external eSATA drive on the source HR24 are you? This is indeed strange behavior.
