Need to pair DirecTV RC73 remote with Amazon Serie 4 Fire TV
We just set up an Amazon Series 4 Fire TV. The DirecTV remote will turn on the TV but can't turn it off. I can change channels but can't change the volume.
The remote was previously paired with a Toshiba Fire TV. When paired to that TV it was able to turn the tv on and off as well as change the volume

You need to reprogram the remotes, press and hold the mute and enter buttons till the message "you are in RF mode" or something like it, then menu remote setup there should be directions to follow.

What are the model numbers of the DTV receiver and the remote?

As far as I can tell the remote is an RC73
The box is an HR44-500
