Network Test

When I run a network test on my 3 HR-24's I get a failed test that says "receiver has a reduced network performance".  Watching recorded shows and live tv seems to work OK.  Is it common to get this message?

Not common.  How are your DVR's networked?  Do you have DirecTV's Whole Home DVR service?  Who installed it?

Yes I have WWDRV service installed by a directv tech.  All of the receivers are networked through coax and SWM.  I guess maybe I shouldn't be too concerned everything seems to be operating properly.

Check to see that the SWM splitters have green labels.  Also, how long are your cable runs?   This error would suggest that something is attenuating the coax signals and affecting the SWM WHDVR network speed.  But it's good that everything appears OK.

The reduced performance message may be due to the wiring of the power inserter.  See page 3 of the attached Troubleshooting Tips.
