New HD onscreen guide

I don't want it. I don't need it. I prefer the guide as it is now.

I don't need flashy bells and whistles. I don't need pretty pictures. I just need to know what programs are

showing for a given time slot. I set my entire days viewing schedule up in one shot.

What I DO need is the annoying habit of the scheduler to switch to the next programmed program

30 seconds early! When I want to start viewing a program at 3:30 and am current;y viewing a program at

3:00 I want to see the entire 30 minutes of the 3:00 show, NOT 29 minutes and 30 seconds!

I do not "buy" the answer that I received some time back that this was so those with DVR's wouldn't miss the

beginning of a program. Well, the programming guide allows for one to START Ba program 1 or 2 minutes early.

The functionality is already THERE. So why am I saddled with this 30 second "early tuning"?

Spend your time fixing things instead of creating flashy, new features of questionable use!
