No signal received by receiver

Since the snowstorm here a week ago I have had trouble receiving a signal on my Directv R-15 standard definition DVR receiver.

I have cleaned the snow and ice off the dish (it's been sunny and near 40 degrees the past couple days so it's definitely clean now) and the weather is currently clear. The dish is securely fastened in place and does not seem to have come out of alignment (I received signal strengths in the 80s and 90s prior to the snow storm). I have tightened all of the connections and that didn't help.

Right after the Saturday storm we were receiving our local channels but had weak or no signal on most of the non-local channels. Cleaning off the dish helped, but about half the non-local channels still did not come in. Then we received a second storm on Wednesday and only the locals came in. After the storm (on Thursday) I reset the receiver and it has not been able to re-boot and has not shown any channels since.

When I reset the receiver, it successfully starts up, does a receiver diagnostic test, and checks the disk. Then it searches for satellite signal, going quickly to 30%, then to 50% (pausing about 5 seconds), then to 70%, 90% (pausing again for 10 seconds), and then 99% (pausing again for 30 seconds). Then it's stuck on 0% receiving satellite info. This is where it hangs up--it never makes it beyond this point.

I tried plugging in this receiver in the bedroom instead of the living room and have the same issues. This is now our only receiver so I can't check what happens with a different receiver.

I'm currently receiving zeros on all transponders except 18 (which scores 60) and 26 (which scores 23). Full summary of signal strength is below.

Satellite transponders (32 total at 101º)
[Most of your standard definition channels are beamed from 101ºW]
1-8 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
9-16 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
17-24 0 60 0 0 0 0 0 0
25-32 0 23 0 0 0 0 0 0

Any ideas what the problem could be? Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you.
