Not able to record on the YES channel

I click on the record button while I'm on the YES channel and it will not record. I noticed on the guide that the YES channel is grayed out. This is the same behavior shown on premium channels that I don't have, ie, HBO. HBO is grayed out and the screen is black which makes sense to me.

YES is grayed out on the guide, but I'm able to view, but not record.

Any thoughts?
