Off Air Antenna with HR-700

I've been having some issues lately with my local channels and until DIRECTV figues it out I was just going to get an indoor off air antenna.  I have a HR21-700 and an HR20-700....I know the HR20-700 is the only one out of the two recievers that has an external coax for an off air (which is fine, I'm only going to use it on that one).  My question is, since it would be plugged directly into the receiver would that intergrate it with my directv onscreen programming guide (ie might be possible to use DVR with it)?  thanks for any suggestions!
