Orange record light comes on

I am writing because once and a while my orange record light will come on, on my hddvr. I will look in my list and it won't say that it is recording anything. If I start to record 2 shows and then delete them it will go out on it's own or else it will just go out on it's own after a while. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them, or what could cause this. My hddvr is the HR22/100 and the software is 0x3de.
