Orange Recording Light

The Orange Recording Light on the front of my New HD DVR comes on whenever if feels like. I had the upgrade installed on 9/.28/10 and it has been acting erratic ever since. It does NOT affect my programs that I have scheduled for recording and replaying.

I have contacted Direct for the past week and the only thing they do is reset my unit and then it goes off and in about 10min the orange light comes on again and stays on until I turn the Entire unit OFF.

I have the HD24/200 DRV and feel that there is a glitch inside the DVR box. I just got rid of a regular DVR and it did NOT do this problem. The orange light came on ONLY when recording. THis box the Orange Light comes on whenever.

I feel after paying $99 for this box and it isn't even mine, that they should come and replace the box. I am even paying for the Protection Plan. They just keep frogging me around.

I know that I would NEVER tell any of my friends to go to Direct TV. I have been a customer since 2002 and they still don't care.
