pairing RC73 remote to ZVOX AV357 sound bar

I cannot pair my genie remote to my ZVOX AV357.  ZVOX does not show up on the list of audio devices

The cheap DirecTV remotes do not have codes for every device on the planet. If you've tried using all of the codes, then it's likely the remote simply can't control that device. You'll need a more capable universal remote, like Logitech Harmony.

My original remote was the same model. Why wouldn’t my sound bar be listed? I’m pretty sure ZVOX was previously on the list, because I paired it with the old remote with no trouble.

This is what I have been going through. I repeat: I cannot select my audio device. IT IS NOT ON THE LIST!

Thanks for the clarification.

Please unplug the cabling from the sound bar and plug it back it, it'll force to restart the synchronizing with another devices.


Let us know if your remote recognizes your audio device after do so.

If anyone has the same problem I had, go to ZVOX.com customer support.  Using the ZVOX remote, I was able to pair to Directv.
