Pause and gray screen
When I turn on my TV to watch a show there is a pause when they are talking then after about 45 minutes into the show the screen blanks out and turns gray.

DVR/Receiver model number?
How is the DVR/Receiver connected to your TV?
Have you tried resetting the DVR/Receiver using the red reset button?
