Mine had just started doing the same with recorded show. If you pause and the screen saver starts, when you resume it starts the show from the beginning. Very frustrating.
Same here. For the last few weeks a paused show resets to the beginning if the stupid screensaver commercials kick in.
Seems like every time they push out another software upgrade, the service gets worse. It's too bad, DirecTV used to have at least a modicum of technical ability.
Just signed up for these forums because of this very issue. I recently returned to Directv as high-speed internet is not yet available at new house. I hope this is not what I have to look forward to.

It's a widely reported but new issue. Directv seems to know about it so I assume it will be fixed in a new release.
