Paused TV, screen goes black, must reboot
Every time I pause live TV, for more than a minute or two, the screen goes black and I cannot resume, rewind, change channels, etc. only solution is to reboot the genie.

Same thing happening to me. Just started a couple months ago. Very frustrating. Happening on all our receivers. No error codes. Just goes black after a couple minutes on pause and have to turn it off and back on to fix.

Same thing happening under our roof. It began around the time AT&T starting running ads whenever we paused live TV. We're considering ditching DirecTV. Besides, they recently jacked up our CHOICE package to an unacceptable, above market, price.
