How do I get rid of these ugly line running accross my walls in my home. I have two lines comming into the base of my window in the back of my home. It runs about 16 feet around the baseboards to my living room it is so ugly. The installer said thats what happens when you live in a old house. What else can I do?

Being a bit of a handy man type,  though not in the business,  when Directv came to my house to install the sat dish,  I had him give me the rolls of cable and while he was doing the dish,  I used crawl space and attic and ran all the cables where I wanted them to go and have a couple places where they come out of wall and 1 place where there is a hole in floor where they come from crawl space and then I sealed around them.  With everything in place there are no wires showing.

You can hire an electrician or custom home theater installation company to fish those cables inside of the walls for you.
