Is there a way to view upcoming scheduled recordings on your play list? I am new to Direct TV and the last carrier I had you could go to your list of programs you had recorded and also access the list of programs that would be recorded at a later time or day.

Yes, they're under the To Do List .....
Menu > Manage Recordings > To Do List
