problem with satellite 2

have a RCA DVR40 where shows and recordings from sat1 are good but shows and recordings from sat2 are pixelated and no sound intermitantly..  all three sat location on both sat1 & sat2 signals are mostly 90-93 with a few in the 80 range.  checked all cable connection inside and outside with all being tight and dry..   switched cable connection on back of reciever  sat1 cable from sat1 in to sat2 in & sat2 cable from sat2 in to sat1 in and problem did not switch,  it is still on sat2 which leads me to believe it is the reciever??  any help would be appreciated..
