Problems recording game

Today i had my game set to record, when i got home and was going to watch the game, i go to the list, find the game on the playlist press play and i got a grey screen saying... searching for authorized content... Finally when it loads after a good 5 mins its already the 4th quarter. I wasnt able to RR to the beginning. What did i do wrong? i called customer service and he stated if i had recorded the game in HD, i stated yes and he said i needed to have purchased the superfan package. but im confused, it was able to recored the last 4 mins but not the beginning? i see the progress bar all light up in orange as if it did record the game, but i can not RR. freaking upset what u guys think?
