problems with moving

I'm moving into a new apartment, within the same complex, and am running into several problems trying to move my satellite to the new apartment.

A) Apparently, since I got my dish about 17 months ago (2 year contract) the complex has changed their policy and no longer allows satellites. However, they said since I'm already under contract, they would grandfather me in until my contract expires, so that may not be a huge problem.

B) They only allow dishes to be set up on patio's, and in the new apartment, the patio faces North, and has a bunch of trees around it. I'm under the impression that where I live (in central Vancouver, WA) the satellite has to be facing sort of Southeast in order to get a signal.

So basically, it sounds like I won't be able to transfer my service, will I have to pay an ETF if I have to cancel because the satellite can't pick up a signal in the only spot the apartment will allow me to put it??

depends how the installer cancels your job.  if it is cancelled as no landlord permission, because it cannot be mounted on the roof or another place, then EFT will apply.   but if it is cancelled as having no line of sight, then the EFT would be waived.

Will do, I've always like the product, never had any problems with signals (that couldn't easily be fixed) or customer service, Just so happens that it won't work in the new apartment.
