Programming remote to surround sound system
I have a BNO Acoustics surround sound system. It strictly controls the volume of the tv. I want to know how to program the DIRECTV remote to control the sound. Right now, with the system connected, the DIRECTV remote does not work on the volume. The model is the GK-3 Home theater system.

What DirecTV remote model number? It's quite likely that it doesn't have a code for that sound system. You should consider a true universal remote, like Logitech Harmony.
