Question about the coax cables
I am planning on moving my TV from one side of the room to the other and instead of having a tech come in to put in a new wall input I want to just buy a couple of long coax cables to run along the floor boards.
I just don't know if I need a special cable since there are two outputs coming from the wall for my HD-DVR. Do I just get regular coax cables or do I need something different?

You need RG6 cables, preferably solid copper core (SCC), but the RG6 cable you get from most local stores (Lowes etc) is usually copper-clad steel core (CCS) and unless you have a very long run already from the dish to the wall input CCS will probably work OK.
If you are making up the cables yourself (rather than buying cables with the connectors already on) then you should get compression fittings and a compression tool, not use crimp-on or screw-on connectors, which are not very reliable.
