Questions on set up

I just got an H23 receiver today and was hoping I could do the multi-room viewing. Based on the posts, I'm thinking that I might not have the right software version, yet, but I'm also not sure if I've got an issue with Network Services. My software version is 0x434d. I've got an IP address/internet connection. When I try to connect to network services using automatic configuration it says "unable to start Network Services (202)". When I go with manual configuration, using STB Services Port 27175 and Audio Services Port 27178 - it says that "Network Services has started successfully, but connection test failed".

Any help or guidance is appreciated!

Thanks.

Patience. You don't have the MRV software version yet.

Do you have any equipment other than the H23? You need at least one HD DVR connected to your network. Note that the HR23 is not designed to connect to the Internet, only the local network.

Yes I do have a DVR, the HR20, and it is connected to the network.

Thanks for the response. Any idea of when I'll get the software? How will I know when I have it?

The HD Receiver software should be rolling out very soon. You'll know you have it when you can enable the MRV beta.
