Receiver not ready for downloads......for most channels not all

For the last three months or so, on most channels I get the message "This Receiver is not ready for downloads".....yada, yada, yada

There are two channels that I know of that work correctly   BBC and WETV.  However, most of the other channels do not work and give me that receiver is not ready for downloads message.

This has been escalated to engineering two months ago and still no response.  Its not a big deal, but it is not the service I am paying for.  Perhaps there is someone there who can help me?

My equipment is HS17-500, and (2) C61K-700

My software info is: 0x113d

I have rebooted number of times and done the ClearMyBox thing a few times.

Good luck with this. I have been a customer for twenty years. Mine started these errors in May sometime, about the same time that ads started showing on the pause /Screensaver.

All of my AT&T hardware (directv and router) have now been replaced to no avail, and the 4th tech who came to my house finally admitted it is a known error without a fix. Now directv has the nerve to say they won't let me out of my contract, even though I am not being provided the advertised service. [Per Guidelines:  Keep it Relevant and Appropriate]. Between directv, internet , and cell phones, we spend over $10k per year with this company.  I don't know how they can continue to get away with this.
