Receiver/Dish compatability

I am going to try and set up our camper to DTV for a 3 month trip. I called DTV and they said fine, but you'll have to get your own dish, just take receiver from home.........so will be taking our receiver from home, HR23-700. The dish we're leaving at the house is an SL5, because it's HD-DVR and local channels.  My question is, I know I need a new slimline, but can I use the SL3S4NR2-01 LNB for my receiver?  Or will I have to pick up another SL5?

I contacted a parts store and was told to get:

 a 21 volt power inverter

an SL5 SWM Slimline Dish

a 4 way SWM splitter

a tripod

coax

Is this correct?  Thanks for your help....Deets

The devil is in the detail.  I too assumed a single TV.  But, you only need a 2 way splitter.

this is true if the op plans to hook up two different receivers in the camper.  if one receiver will feed both TV's, then no splitter is needed for the SWM.

Do you really need the 21 volt power supply for 3LNB?
