Recorded program on DVR now showing as a blank line

Recorded one of the Sunday football games on the DVR (R-15). Watched it just fine. When I was through and closed the program I see the list of recordings shows a blank space where it should list the game info. I'm ready to delete it, but can't access it; other programs remain on the list fine. I'm wondering if this ghost will take up space on the DVR indefinitely, or once I erase the program directly above it will that clear it? I have not tried a reset of the receiver just yet...no time yet. thoughts appreciated.
