Recording a series, but it records repeats.

Hi. I have an HD DVR and I set it to record a couple of series (Modern Family, Big Bang Theory and a few others) and set the option to "first run". (I actually set that to be the system default.) Anyhow it records the repeats. I looked at the discription incase there was something strange there, but it actually has the origianl air date right but it records it anyway. Any ideas? Thanks.

(I don't know a lot aobut the system I have but it was just installed about a week ago. It has the multiroom HD DVR service.)
